Over lunch, Summit attendees will hear how one woman is transforming 500,000 square feet of former hospital space into “a space and place where we maximize the efficiency, effectiveness, and impact of the nonprofit sector … while simultaneously being a catalyst for the transformation of nearby neighborhoods.” Maxine Clark, founder of Build-A-Bear workshop, will share her vision for the Delmar DivINe and how this development, sitting on the infamous Delmar Divide, is the “biggest piece of the puzzle to closing the divide and catalyzing change” in St. Louis.
