Miriam is a Senior Planner with Development Strategies, an interdisciplinary planning, real estate, and community development advisory firm based in St. Louis. Miriam manages a broad variety of projects at Development Strategies, including housing studies, land use strategies, and urban design plans—almost every project relates to issues of housing, housing affordability, and equitable urban development. She also helps to lead engagement strategies that involve community members, policymakers, city officials, nonprofit partners, and other key stakeholders in decision-making processes.
Prior to joining Development Strategies, Miriam held a variety of positions in the public and nonprofit sectors, including at the Boston Planning and Development Agency, the City of St. Louis, the National Low Income Housing Coalition, and Washington University in St. Louis. Miriam holds a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from Washington University in St. Louis, and a Master in Public Policy and a Master of Urban Planning from Harvard University.
